Spicy Pork Adobo

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Pork Butt, diced
  • ¼ cup Datu Puti Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. Oyster Sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp. Whole Peppercorn
  • 3 pcs. Dried Bay Leaves
  • 3 tbsp. Datu Puti Vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Granulated White Sugar
  • 6 pcs. Dry Red Chili
  • 5 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 tbsp. Cooking Oil
  • Salt to taste
  1. Heat the oil in a pan.
  2. Saute garlic until light brown, then add pork and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in Datu Puti soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Stir and then let boil.
  4. Add the dry red chili, whole peppercorn, and bay leaves. Cover and let simmer for 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Add Datu Puti vinegar, then let boil before adding sugar and salt. Stir and then cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve.
