Classic Chicken Adobo Halal

Ingredients

  • 1 kg. Chicken
  • 2 tsp. Oil (for sauteeing)
  • 1 head Garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 1 cup Datu Puti Vinegar
  • 1 cup Datu Puti Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Water
  • 5 pcs Dried Bay Leaves
  • 2 tbsp. Brown Sugar
  • 3 tsp. Black Peppercorn
  1. Marinate the chicken into Datu Puti soy sauce, half the amount of garlic, and pepper for 2 hours.
  2. Heat the pot and put oil.
  3. Saute garlic until golden brown.
  4. Put in the marinated chicken and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Add water and pepper.
  6. Add dried bay leaves and boil it.
  7. Put in Datu Puti Vinegar simmer for 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
