Beef Adobo sa Gata



  • 2 lb. Beef Kalitiran (either beef chuck, brisket or flank steak)
  • 2 cans Coconut Milk
  • ½ cup Datu Puti Vinegar
  • 12 Peppercorns
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • Salt to taste
  1. Slice beef into 2-inch cubes and place in a big pot.
  2. Add a can of coconut milk, Datu Puti Vinegar, peppercorns, garlic, bay leaf and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil, then let simmer until beef is tender and the liquid is almost gone.
  4. Add the remaining can of coconut milk.
  5. Bring to a boil then let simmer for another 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and serve.
