Adobo Tofu



  • 6 pcs Tofu (firm)
  • 6 cloves of Garlic (cut horizontally)
  • 2 White Onion (small size)
  • ¾ cup of Datu Puti Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp. of Datu Puti Vinegar
  • Laurel
  • ½ cup of Water
  • Pepper to taste
  1. Fry the pieces of tofu until golden brown on each side.
  2. When cooked, cut into bite sized pieces and set aside.
  3. Pour in the soy sauce, vinegar and laurel leaves to the tofu, leave for 15 minutes, while lightly frying the garlic and onion.
  4. Add the tofu and the mixture into the pan with the onion and garlic.
  5. Add water to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Add pepper to taste
